Caret v0.4.2 expands support for GPT-5.2 and Gemini 3 Pro/Flash, adds image generation models, and stabilizes account, credit, and billing flows.
Caret v0.4.2 is out! This release focuses on faster support for the latest models, a more stable Caret account and billing experience, full image generation support, and upstream fixes.
Key updates
1) Latest Gemini 3 Pro/Flash and GPT-5.2 support
- The newest models are available as soon as they ship.
- Total supported models: 343 models / 27 providers

2) Stabilized account, credit, and billing flows
- A dedicated Caret account page makes key info easier to find.
- We refined the credit balance, usage, and billing history flows and improved refresh reliability.
- Fixed the missing profile photo issue after login.
3) Image generation is officially supported
- Image generation works with Gemini 3 Pro Image Preview / Gemini 3 Flash Image Preview.
- gemini-3-pro-image-preview (Nano Banana Pro) is available in Caret accounts.
4) Stability and upstream fixes
- Resolved ask request race conditions for more stable runs.
- Cherry-picked Cline v3.45.0 bug fixes.
